The girls

Sadly we lost one of our new chooks a couple of wks ago. We rang the lady and she said it looked like she was egg bound- got an egg stuck and apparently they go really quickly with little warning. Mildred the black one has started looking a bit glum now but she is quite old and stopped laying around 6 months ago. I'm just a bit paranoid now tho that maybe there is some disease we don't know about, having lost 2 in a short space of time.

I love my chooks except they have an annoying habit of pooing on my patio! They like to peck at the door asking to come in and if we leave the door open they come right on in anyway!
