Timekeeper Square

I think this new development next to St Phillips Church is looking really good. There was a lot of debate about the colour of the brick and the relationship to the important surrounding buildings within the conservation area. The result is the right one.

Leading up to the giant sycamore seed in front of the church various words are spelt out on the pavers. Collectively they read ..."if people call me a Sunday painter I paint every day of the week". Beyond the big metal seed a metal copy image of LS Lowry's painting of the corner of the church looking towards the RC Cathedral (which is behind me in this shot) is set into the ground.

When this development of townhouses came to market there was huge demand. No wonder. The acid test for me is ... could I live here. Yes I could.
