Longhope - The Final Fling
Last night’s dancing included a ‘free’ cruise over Scapa Flow, at times we thought we were going through the Kiel Canal. Pitch black outside and a force 8 north wester. It’s so b cold.
However this didn’t prevent the Quadrilles, the tensomes, Postie Jig, from firing along at a great speed. Many dances were specifically devised for dancing on Hoy by Jessie Stuart, who used to be a stalwart if the dance scene,
There was great support from folk who come down every year from Shetland.

In bed at 2.15 a.m. and then took Baz into Kirkwall to the vet at 8.02 a.m. for his booster. I then went to Outer Dale for dung for the tunnel
