Red Squirrel

It is almost three weeks since we last saw a squirrel in the garden.  I have noticed signs they have been, nuts disappearing etc but not the animal itself.

When we got back from Edinburgh the feeder was nearly empty.  Ever since they first became regular visitors whoever has been first up has carefully peeped through the blinds to see if they were there.

Today Clickychick was lucky but it scampered off.  Fortunately it returned to the bird feeders when I was around.  This time we both got good views (and shots of course).

When it left it had the presence of mind to stop at the squirrel feeder and pick up a snack to take with it!
