A sad but lovely two days

A sad day yesterday when we farewelled a much loved mother and to her nieces an nephews a dearly loved aunt. Apart from three nephews who for various reasons were unable to attend, we were all there, some of us only a few years younger than her.
The photos I have put up as. Collage tonite depict the water tower that we could see from my childhood home, the church ( now no longer a church, and to be truthful not sure what used for) that Alex and I were married in on the 29th May, 59"years ago ( wish he was still here), and the third Barnes Bluff Oysters which I,cooked for my tea. Yummy.
A wonderful catch up,with cousins, and a wonderful night staying with my long term bestie from school days and her man who I,have known for just about as long. Was a long drive home today and now full steam ahead for my shift.
