Lots of heavy rain over night and this morning. It cleared up a little and is raining lightly now. We are going to be so lucky compared with parts the North Island that is going to be hit with cyclone Cook, very shortly. We are to get some heavy rain and winds later this evening. It is so calm at the moment.

Here is the latest news on cyclone Cook. The MetService says that is going to the worst storm in generations. Do hope they are wrong!
