Spaced Out with @PSB_HQ
This is most space we've seen Public Service Broadcasting occupy on a stage before... well it was The Usher Hall after all.
Ironically, they were performing their previous album, The Race for Space, in full as part of the Edinburgh International Science Festival with their usual brass ensemble plus special guests the National Youth Choir of Scotland and Mr McFall's Chamber string quintet. Another fab PSB night and maybe the last time we'll see Sputnik (above the band here) and the dancing astronaut :-(
While this album's theme was the space programs of the 50's and 60s, their next, Every Valley, looks at coal mining and industry, particularly in South Wales, and was recorded in Ebbw Vale. Looking forward to it's release in July!
