Taking the Rough with the Smooth

With Ruth in hospital suffering from severe neck pain, we have been having to take the rough with the smooth.  Jacinta has been on duty at the hospital all day while I have been at home with Jamie and later at work.  As luck would have it Ruth's pain consultant was at the hospital today and was able offer some support and arrange a visit from the neurology team tomorrow.  After a peaceful holiday and a relatively incident free couple of months this has come as quite a jolt :-(
