The inquest
Great day today, I took my Dad and the kids off to the Scottish Archery Centre. The kids all did very well and Eve was delighted because she had to wear a pirate patch to correct some of the more wayward arrows. Dad wanted to go last, after he'd sussed out techniques and knew the scores to beat. None of which helped so the kids had to wander down and gloat as the instructor took Dad through his scores.
Then it was off to the Museum of Flight for a charge around the old aircraft, although as ever the kids spent most time playing on the old bomb shelters and then back home to tea and cake by the fire.
A Saturday well spent - and that's before the Shepherds Pie for dinner, with a bottle of red warming up by the fire as I speak (or type but you know what I mean).
