Occurrence at Hagg Lake

Here is the *very* remote Coast Guard outpost for Hagg Lake, a beautiful man-made lake outside of Gaston, Oregon. I had never been here before, despite having grown up in the area, and was surprised by just how nice it was (I've made quite a few Gaston jokes over the course of my life.) My good friend Noah and I went fishing out in the middle of the lake in his new inflatable raft. We didn't catch anything (well, I got an ant on my hook, I guess), and I lost an oar in the water, but we had fun. We also got burned by the sun pretty bad, or broiled, to put it more accurately.
