Do we start in the centre and move out or do we start on our own on the verge and move into the centre? Both, I would say. Sometimes one has to move away from an established community - to get perspective, to enjoy one's own company, to rest - & sometimes one have to move closer to a group - to understand, to enjoy company, to play.
