Kookaburra.

Out for a chilly, early morning walk, I saw this little chap.  He let me get quite close to him too.

It was only 13c this morning, 7 degrees lower than normal for this time of year.  But it was nice and fresh.

Later on I went with Alexandra for a follow-up assessment on Isabella.  We both found it a waste of time, as it didn't tell us anything we didn't know already!

After that we went for a walk around the big lake that is near there.  Unfortunately, we didn't take any bread and there were loads of birds, including two black swans.

By the time we had finished walking it had really warmed up to about 27c.  So we headed for home, and some drinks.  Tea and hot cross buns.
