One Stop

After some time at Coffe Castle, we took the steam train to Swanage. It was very interesting although the station staff would not have survived in real life! There were quite a few of us and we had worked out we needed​ one family ticket, one adult and two children. The lovely chap went through every option possible before saying what I needed - which was what I had asked for in the first place! Then trying to buy a few drinks at the station cafe in time to catch the train got to be touch and go while attendant finished his conversation with a friend, took down the order, slowly delivered order and then worked out with paper and pencil what we owed. It was both frustrating and hilarious.
Beach at Swanage was good, apart from being sandy, and we had a good time there. Smooth journey back and easy meal of pizza. All of us are very tired although​ children refuse to actually go to sleep!!
