Borde Hill: Malus baccata

A variety of the Siberian, Manchurian or Chinese Crab Apple growing in the woodlands at Borde Hill, just north of Haywards Heath, which we visited this morning.

Today's 'Extra' shows a somewhat luminous lily-like plant (which we have not been able to identify) growing in the formal part of the garden.
