Retirement......

I can see this retirement party thing is going to run and run.
Today was (definitely) the final Gait Barrows volunteer work party with chocolate for Easter and a cake for Rob, and some framed photos. It was lovely to see what high regard they have for him and the leadership he has given over 25 years as site manager.
He assured them he will be back in September as a lowly volunteer and introduced Glen who is to take the reserve forward with new eyes. He asked everyone to continue their support especially for him in his new role. We will see how he fits the old boots....
