Letterboxes

Spent the evening delivering newsletters for the local councillor. I saw a huge variety of front doors and letterboxes. Some are evil others just awkward. Putting an A3 folded sheet through a spring loaded letterbox is incredibly difficult.

And why, for heaven's sake, do people have letterboxes in the bottom of their doors? Bending to put things through a normal letterbox is hard enough! Bending to ground level is a killer for someone with a bad back.

Still, it was a nice evening and quite interesting to see the number of houses claiming CCTV monitoring of their homes these days.
