Sooth Stromfirt

A terrible day of rain, seemed to rain all day long, with lighter showers in the afternoon.  It finally stopped at teatime, and the sun came out for an hour.  Cloudy again now.

I've been working in the museum office all day, and scanning slides from the 1960s and 70s, it is for my old boss at the library.  With the wet day, it was really busy in the museum, with families looking to entertain their bairns.  After tea, I was straight out the door with Sammy, and enjoyed a bit of sunshine for our walk.  Off to work in the pub again!  

My niece Elise came by the museum in the late morning, so I took an early lunch and we went for a run in the car, and grabbed lunch for her at the Whiteness shop.  It wasn't much better weather out west, little less rain but still kinda misty.  We came through the back roads, and stopped here at South Stromfirth for a photo.  This is looking south.
