Waiting

I was in town today and a walk down to the river is always worthwhile, especially on a sunny day.  The arched bridge on the left is known in Dumfries as the Devorgilla Bridge, and dates from about the middle of the 15th century.  There was apparently an earlier version built of wood which was built about 1270 and it is named after Lady Devorgilla.
