Canada Geese At Tegel

A trip to Tegel was called for . Reason , to say hello to the Canada Geese.  Few in number they were in fine form and very friendly .Their counterparts in Manchester are numerous  and I made a promise to convey their best wishes There were a few people feeding bread but only the swans and ducks were eating it .The Geese had more sense .Pity the public don't .Feeding bread can result in malformation of the wings which results in the bird being unable to fly . This usually results in an early death as it is then vulnerable .
