Male Chamois Portrait

Full moon and consequently, little sleep, so I decided to go off on a little adventure, walking to a high alpine pasture, Anzeindaz, by moonlight (see extra). It was fantastic to walk in silence then to listen to the chorus of birdsong increasing in volume as dawn broke. I don't think Mr. Chamois was expecting any visitors as early as 7am and he allowed me to sit quite close to him. 

Blipping early today as we are in need of a rest after completing the channelling for the solar panels. There are currently 4 men on the roof and in the garden making lots of noise but it should all be finished tomorrow. So we are off to see the film "A United Kingdom" after they leave. I hope I don't fall asleep and snore!
