Skipped

Our building work seems to be completed now, and we are really pleased with the results. The builders have done an excellent job being quick and clean. They have even had to take on a bit more than expected without any grumble.

Thankfully they managed to clear pretty much all the bricks into the skip on day 1 and thankfully I managed to dump all my clutter in it too early also. This is because there seems to be skip fairies about. Each day more and more mystery items seem to find their way into the skip.

Day one saw a neighbour ask to put his bin bags in the skip within seconds of its delivery. Day two brought someones garden furniture. Day three saw the addition of ten rolls of carpet to the already full skip and today the toilet seat arrived.

We have arranged for it to be collected tomorrow before it gets too full to be taken away.
