It was my niece's birthday today and I cooked dinner for the family celebration. 
I made a Red Velvet Cake from cakeophilia's website but the decoration was my own invention. Not bad for a first effort, I thought, but the photo shows where I could improve next time. I could improve the photography, too, but I was being a bit lazy. My gallivanting around is catching up with me and I am having a few days relaxing and catching up with Blip before my next adventure at Easter. My sister and I are visiting relatives in Adelaide AND Blip's Paladian and the Rower. They are kindly taking time out of their busy schedule to put us up for a couple of nights and show us around. How exciting to be meeting them, soon!
