First round of the tenpin singles tonight, a new format with 4 players in a qualifying group. I played pretty well and scored a lot better than my average but missed a good chance to finish second in my group. Last ball nerves got to me! Still, I'm hoping I'll get through to the next round.
I made a wee list of 'must do's' this morning and surprised myself by getting everything done, apart from strimming the grass at the allotment. That came a cropper courtesy of a dud battery that's refusing to recharge. An urgent eBay search is in order.
