An evening at Portree Harbour

2017 hrs. An evening after a whole day of rain. All the restaurants and hotels were busy. Visitors may have been out for their first dry walk of the day. The midges were bad though and I seem to be a midge magnet.

I am stood in the parking bay for a guesthouse in Beaumont Crescent photographing the pier. In this light the colours are more vivid. To take the picture handheld, for I went down there without my tripod, I had to set the ISO for a fast film. This in its turn introduced a lot of noise into the image which, in my post processing, I have tried to filter out.
