Gateway to the Gorse

The little road that winds its way past Crummock Water (seen here) and on towards Buttermere, is lined with bright yellow gorse. It seems to flouresce in the sunshine and emits a gorgeous scent of coconuts as one walks by. The fell on the left is Rannerdale Knotts and the rounded summit to the right is Red Pike.
