lamb love

Our friends have a small herd of sheep and lambing officially began yesterday with the birth of twin lambs. There are lots more to come so the children will have plenty more opportunities to pet and cuddle them. I've really changed over the years - I found myself thinking about mint sauce quite a lot. Hannah is thrilled to have two ewe lambs as it means she can grow the herd instead of just eating its produce like last year. Eve is only mildly perturbed about our forthcoming Easter roast....

A lovely day but I pushed my foot way too much in a bid to make the most of our no-school fun and I'm now regretting it.
