Mallorca (Day 7) - "Playa de Formentor"

One thing about the sea in the Mediterranean, is that it is blue ... (the sea around Guernsey tends to have more of a green tinge) ... and even though we went to Mallorca slightly out of season, the beaches were still quite busy with sun worshipers. So it was quite difficult to capture a good "dessert island" effect, which was what I was trying to achieve ... :o)

Playa de Formentor, seen here, is situated on the North of the island. It was all part of a day excursion which also took us to a small market, then onto a boat trip across the bay and, after an hour and a half for lunch, continued up onto the higher coastal ground and sea cliffs ... :o)

Not bad for 42 euros ... :o)
