Branching out

Quiet day today. Spent morning untangling the various branches of my paternal grandmother's ancestors in Angus; the tangles being due to distant cousins marrying one & other. Fascinating how different branches criss-cross each other. 

Tore myself to go for a stroll round Black Spout Woods - lovely & peaceful and more green since previous visit. Sadly no Roe Deer nor Red Squirrels spotted in this occassion.

Now sitting with Scotsman crossword but making little progress & I daresay I will be returning to family tree before long.

Could get used to this .....
