Flying high

We took Ella and Nathaniel to play in Cragside - we were there for opening. It was so much colder today, but they enjoyed all the climbing and swinging. Nathaniel fell off the big swing but got straight back on. He tried to follow Ella's instructions on how to swing himself but he's only 3 and she is 5 so it might be a while.

This afternoon I went to Katy's for book group - Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. We all found it compelling apart from Katy, the English teacher, who felt the pace too slow.

I got home to find #3 daughter had cooked a meal while Mr C had taken the children to the wood to build a den and find woodlice. (They want a pet,)
