Furious fury!

Bird fights are never a well-mannered, following the rules affair. They usually just scrap. The most vicious bird fight I ever saw was a few years ago between 3 great crested grebes. Today I saw a fight between 2 pairs of grebes. Fascinating to watch as the pairs eyed each other up with much grebe 'grunting' before swimming off to do a bit of their head swivelling display. They then repeated the whole thing before a full on fight with furious fury!
