Yes she still has figs on the tree (extra) to be collected and sold to those driving by and seeing her road side sign but...judging by the laden 'avo' tree it will be a bumper season.

The 'Avo Smash', a brekkie fave, is fast becoming part of Australian culinary folk lore with the moan about diminishing  young Australians' home ownership and the 'bank of mum and dad' being counteracted by a suggestion that '..young Australians should be spending less on breakfast and instead be saving for a home deposit.'
Whatever happened to a cuppa and vegemite on toast or renting or house sharing. ..as home ownership  is surely a privilege, not a right.
