Newman's Wall
Not at all a nice day in Adelaide. Full cloud cover and no Sun to be seen anywhere. Still, what can you do? At least I got a good walk in through the hills. My aim for the day was to get some pics of the scratched and carved graffiti in the old ruins up on Anstey Hill. I have recently put together some new calligraphy workshops (yet to be presented to the public) and got an idea that follows on from, and connects well to three of them. I now have a few images I can work with to produce examples.
The idea came from something Kristoffel Boudens had implanted in my mind several years ago. It has taken a few years for me to simplify the concept into a workable project.
You can see some more images from today on Instagram if you wish.
