Doi Suthep

I met up with two groups from Couchsurfing and we planned to hire scooters and drive up Doi Suthep, the nearest mountain. No one else had driven much before but they wanted to try, so we practised in the small streets first. Danielle and Christina were confident but Tanja and Lera decided they didn't feel safe enough. So eventually Tanja went on the back of my nice new bike (which I had just rented for at least a month), Lera decided not to join us and Danielle/Christina shared a bike.

We drove up the mountain, stopping a couple of times along the way, including at the temple, then continued up to the very peak where we took this selfie propped up against a tree.
