At our Writers' Drop-in

Once a month, the writing group of which I'm a member hosts a drop-in session at a local pub. Tonight was the night. For the first hour we take it in turns to read (if we wish) something we've written. Then we have a break to recharge our glasses and chat for a few minutes, after which one of the group leads a discussion. Tonight the topic for discussion was "ear reading" - google it!

The drawings on the walls are all the work of the pub landlord, who (I'm told) also plays in a jazz band.
