NZ Kingfisher...

This cute little native Kingfisher has been brought to us at the hospital after having been picked up off the road up near Kaikoura. It is doing quite well even though it has a broken wing. I have been into hospital 3 times during the day to crop feed it some food. It is progressively getting feistier....a great sign.
