Anticipation

Early start and off via Dublin to Washington. Not a bad trip, although very busy plane, and quickly wrapped up in chat and sightseeing on the way to JP&C's house. Gorgeous old house in historic area of DC. Quick change and out to the Kennedy Centre. Amazing concert....Britten, Prokofiev and Shostokovich (even managed to stay awake all the way through despite that making it after 3am in my head!). Enjoyed our supper with a very jolly viola player from the orchestra...until he had to dash downstairs to go on stage!....and enjoying the building and reminders of presidents who had good things to say.
Home and bed....think this is going to be a great trip
