Garden

I awoke at the crack of dawn feeling quite energised so spent the morning finishing my first draft of my research paper whilst The Other half had a lie in.
I decided whilst hanging some washing out that the garden needed a bit of a tidy so I swept, weeded and then cleaned down and set out the furniture for the first time this year.
The rest of the day was spent sitting in the sun completing my draft and some school work before I cooked tea. We stuggled to get over the dissapointment at the lack of 'The Mother's roast dinner'. I couldn't ever fill those shoes.
