Happiness is...

Fill in the blank as you see fit. :) The title just reminds me of a song we sang in Sunday school - Happiness is to know the Saviour...

Have to thank G for this image as she took it whilst we were on the final run home on Happiness Street again to avoid a toll road. It goes right through Business Bay and takes us on to Trade Bridge which we love driving on just to get high level views of our part of town.

So G went back to school today, except one of her kids is unwell, so she didn't have to be in till 11am. I suggested we race done and get our medicals done - a non-negotiable requirement for the residence visa which is essentially an AIDS test. We had to have chest X-rays too. As often with these things, nothing ever goes quite to plan and we had a few challenges which we overcame and emerged out of the building in an hour. A record I think.

Dropped G at school and went to check out a new hypermarket and get some lunch before picking her up an hour later. She wanted to check out a book at the christian bookshop in Jebel Ali so we went there and had a good catch up with the proprietor. Dropped her back at school for another hour while I sat it out at a nearby Mall and in the evening - for the first time in years, we went for a Palm Sunday service and even came home with some palm crosses! Brilliant.
