Upper Tweed Valley from Dreva

The Tour of The Borders is just a few weeks away, so I decided to do some of the route on my Sunday bike ride. The way out is via Auchendinny, so I have a climb up to the Top Gear road, then I head over Mount Lothian, over the Tweeddale to the Peebles Road near Waterheads.. Then south through Eddleston and over the Meldons to Lyne and Stobo. I tak the turn to Dreva, but instead of heading along the rout to Broughton, I turn left heading down to the B712.

Once at the junction with the A701, I head north through Broughton, Blyth Bridge to Romannobridge. I turn off the A701 to head for West Linton via Bogsbank, thence over the Harlawmuir road to Penicuik. It doesn't take long to get home from there.
