April Sunshine!!

Cameley Lakes, Somerset

Another beautiful start to the day, with blue skies and temperatures rising to 20 degrees. And a trip down to Cameley in Somerset, on the edge of the Mendip Hills, for further birthday celebrations over Sunday lunch with family and friends. From the restaurant we looked out over the lake, where both the fishermen and swans were enjoying the April sunshine.

As the day wore on, a strange hazy light developed, and by mid afternoon a cool wind had picked up and the clouds had started to gather. The blue skies have now been replaced by grey, and my sandals have been replaced by socks and a fleece! 20 degrees today, 12 degrees tomorrow; the joys of British weather!!
