Flowering Currant

Not such a nice day here today as it was cool, with a stiff breeze but perfect for drying the washing!  An occasional glimpse of sunshine allowed me to lean out of my study window to take this photo of my neighbour's flowering currant hedge.  It will soon spread to gigantic proportions and have to be cut back on our side to enable us to walk down the path between the houses, so it's not an ideal boundary hedge.

TJ was very industrious and cut two lots of grass, cleared some more from his shed and did some weeding, while I faffed around indoors and achieved very little.  He's going fishing again tomorrow, so obviously felt a bit guilty:-)  I'm going out too to get my hair cut, but I didn't feel at all guilty about doing very little!
