Hoverfly having a feed of pollen on the Malus tree

Please correct me if I am wrong on the Hoverfly.

     Another fabulously sunny day and very pleasantly warm. I have had a more restful day today as I did quite a lot of gardening yesterday.
Now that we have had a few days with no rain I am having to water the garden. It certainly needs it, so when I have posted this I will standing at then of the hosepipe watering!!
    
     I was also trying to catch a hoverfly in flight and it is in the extras. Not easy but after many shots this was the best one of the lot. The shot has been heavily cropped to make the fly stand out. Having the sun on its back also helps.
