Saturday Night Dinner

It was very late - about 9.00 pm - once we had our grandson sorted and to bed, but worth waiting for.  My husband is the chef in our house; I can cook Ok and enjoy it occasionally but dislike doing it every day.  My husband on the other hand, loves cooking and is very good at it.  Here we have venison steaks with a red wine jus (Martin Wishart recipe), with truffle mash, and roasted baby vegetables.
