Cheese On Toast

Not the way I would want to photograph a meal, we were sat right at the back of The Beehive Inn in Grassmarket, Edinburgh for our lunch. Excuse the grainy image, I wanted to take part in the Blipchallenge about what's on my plate. I suppose I should have ordered Today's Special.

Beautiful soft warm Camembert with toast and caramelised onions (I didn't eat the cucumber and carrots)! It went down very well with a glass of Merlot.

The Little Tykes have come up here on holiday, too. We joined them for tea at The Brewers' Fayre in Newhaven. Very nice meal there, too. I just had to put the iconic lighthouse in the extra shots as I recognise it from one of my Blipmate's journals.

Drinks back at the holiday apartment then a long bus journey back to Shandon, but at least we got those top-deck front seats and enjoyed the city tour.
