In at the deep end

The kids woke up fairly late again today (7:30am), which afforded us all a bit longer in bed.

After eating breakfast (for servings for the little lady) and playing around the house, we decided to drive over to Carvoeiro for a through the old fishing village and along the beach.

The wee man refused to get in the pool today so i spent nearly an hour splashing alone with the little lady, until he finally changed his mind, just as she was about to get out. Another half an hour in the pool with the wee man and he's really starting to get the hang of swimming in shallow water (waking on his hands and kicking his legs). In fact, he completed several breadths across the pool completely unassisted.

Bedtime was easy tonight as both kids, like me, were exhausted.

Faro awaits tomorrow, along with a trip to Tavira.
