Duel with shields

Our ancestors were strange people when it comes to duels... yes, these are duelling shields. They were used for judicial duels in middle age Germany and the goal was to spike your opponent through with one of the pointy bits. 

The Dawn Duellists Society came to Conpulsion convention today to show us some fencing and they brought a reproduction of this medieval fencing manuscript with them.


Conpulsion gaming convention continues tomorrow in Teviot Row House if anyone is wondering what to do with their Sunday.
