Evolving April

These trees just seemed to demonstrate the beauty of April on a sunny day - evergreen ivy, blackthorn blossom, new leaves emerging, and the oak still holding back its new greenery for a little longer! 
I am able to observe these daily changes at my leisure while Russet snuffles along the hedges! She is walking so much more slowly now, and likes to take her time!!
A good session in the garden this afternoon, roses fed, mulched - after weeding and digging done!
