Heading home

The end of our holiday today and, with the sun still shining, we had already decided not to head straight home. We packed the van and tidied our holiday place with a fairly disconcerted Bailey keeping watch. Away before ten we headed to Padstow for a bit of a shop. It's the first time I have ever seen it in anything other than fairly poor weather. The favourite and Bailey sat in the sunshine whilst we shopped. A few things purchased and then pasties for brunch (Bailey was on the cadge and his favourite obliged) before getting back into the van. 

There was a  hold up near Exeter and a fairly lengthy stop at Gloucester services but we were still home by seven. Unpacked, Bailey walked and settled on the spare bed and 579 shots downloaded.  All in all we've had a fab week with sunshine virtually every day, super comfy accommodation in a stunning location, a mishap solved, miles walked, surfers and landscapes photographed and the best of company for me and Bailey.
