The owner of this tiny little 1.8" hard drive wasn't, and now his computer won't start. Cue the Edinburgh Chap (real job: IT Consultant). A £2 connector off eBay, and we're good to go. The disk mounts, and the 25,000 files on the drive that the owner would really rather not lose are saved.

Backups folks, do your backups! Or be prepared to hand over vast quantities of gin to your nearest friendly IT person.
