Sandhill Babies

Leaving the nursing facility this afternoon, feeling sad about the state of Mr. W's mother, we passed this lovely little Sandhill Crane family who were having lunch by the side of the road.

I thought how wonderful it is to see new, young life especially right now, when so much of our personal lives are focused on the other end of the spectrum at present.
